no target through target default option?

Just wondering why this game doesn't have a target through target option you can tick on. Is there anyway this can be added?

It seems crazy to me that I have to make a bunch of macros to try and imitate its function.

By default any damage spell or attack skill used when an ally is targeted should automatically attack his target. Similarly any heal cast on the enemy should by default heal its target rather than myself.

This is how it works in a lot of other mmos and I was surprised there was no option here.
The alternative to this could be an offense a d defense target box which was a brilliant idea vanguard had, but I will settle for the simple functionality of the above method.

For healing you cannot even imitate the above because as soon as the game considers an invalid target it insists on healing you.

If one line fails it goes down the line until it hits one it doesn't error on.

Would be nice to have it default this way, but that is easy enough I guess.

this would be cool, I love it in the MMO's I've played that have it. At least you can click the target of target; to target them (....if that makes sense) which not all games have haha.

I don't believe that works. Tested it in the past and what happens is:
If mob is targeted then first line goes off successfully healing mobs target.

However, if you have ally targeted, first line causes you to try heal mob which is illegitimate target and there immediately goes into default operation and heals you, it does not cycle through your macro commands. That is my key issue, the inconvenience of having to make a macro for basic commands is a pain, but the fact you can't actually make a working macro is the real irritation.

So unless a stealth patch improved it, essentially the middle line of your macro does not function (same issue occurs if you flip the macro round and have t as first line and tt as second)
