Just kidding lol :)
They are probubly the 2 most balanced classes in the game and compliment each other very well.
just wanted to keep the trend of useless threads that never die going for the luls.

I give props to the SCH, I WHM and when i got my SCH to 50 i tried to heal and was so damn confused and lost, making mistakes cause i wanted to cureII abd crap. Glad there is someone out there that can do that amazing class justice
I hardly have time to play so I currently only have WHM at lv50. I have to say that WHM is great, but it's even better if a SCH is with me. Finally beat Titan HM while grouped with a SCH (2 WHMs seemed tougher). The SCH shields + OUR awsome healing owned his face into the ground!
As a tank I'd much rather have both as it just seems to work better.
As a SCH I love a WHM being there to pick up the slack when I'm not mitigating enough damage.
Definitely the best combination (Although BRD and BLM are pretty close!).
Yeah, while I can see why people would find PLD/WAR unbalanced, I think WHM/SCH are extremely well balanced
When you find a team-mate of the opposite job and get to know how the other plays the role, you can heal through anything.
Great synergy.
Can you stack 2 whm? yes. can you stack 2 sch? yes, but its so painful to watch.
In late end game.. I'm talking Twintania etc.. SCH absolutely outclasses WHM by a mile. WHM has the upper hand with mid-game content such as Titan HM.
Come on.. SCH is important on Twintania but seriously..You need a WHM as well to be able to do this fight.
When are people going to freaking stop with throwing Hyperbole around. Please?
I had the opportunity to play both WHM and SCH in coil and both are needed. Fullstop!
I never mentioned once that a WHM isn't needed for Twint; however, you can't ignore the fact that the only reason why a WHM is even there is for their Medica II on fireballs. Past that second phase, the fight/heals falls almost entirely on the SCH.
Here's my breakdown (very simple)
SCH Adv:
1. MP management.
2. Single Target Healing.
3. Damage Mitigation
4. Mobility
5. Debuffs
6. Aggro control
WHM Adv.
1. Multi target healing
2. Buffs
3. Larger heals per cast.
4. Holy - cause it stuns
5. Holy - cause it does decent dmg
6. Holy - cause its pretty.
Right, because all the constant big spot heals are totally not needed and useless. It's fun how the tone has changed from omg SCH is totally useless to omg SCH is so much superior now that people actually understand the mechanics of the SCH.
Yet now all of a sudden the big constant direct healing on tanks to supplement the SCH shields is totally not important anymore.
Just because on your list the SCH has more utility doesn't mean it makes him/her a better healer. It makes him a DIFFERENT healer.
And seriously? So let the WHM sit down and die past fireballs and see if the SCH can keep the fight up on his own.
God..or even better..do the fight with two SCH.
You obviously haven't played a WHM in coil :)
Because I play both in Coil and I can tell that you NEED both.
