Linking PS3 to PC HELP

Hey,

I just bought the PS3 version of the game from PSN and i'm having trouble linking my PS3 to my PC so i can play my characters on both systems. However when i logged into mogstation and clicked Add Playstatio Service it says this;

To add the PlayStation®3 platform to this service account, you must first either purchase the digital download, or apply a registration code through the Sony Entertainment Network.
Please note that PlayStation®3 services are not accessible through this website.
Upon completing registration, the game can be installed and played as normal on your PlayStation®3.

I didn't get a registration code due to it being a digital download so how can i add my PS3 game to my PC account?

Thanks for any help..i feel like i just wasted £30 :(

tried running the PS3 client? it may be able to verify your purchase if you bought it through PSN and link it to your SE account.
