Is it me? or has there been way too many "PLD reassurance" topics lately?

Like the game can only have 1 awesome tank class, and 1 so-so sufficient tank class good for only dungeon runs and off-tanking. And since PLDs became the de-facto, "safe-bet" awesome tank of 2.0, the thought of WARs getting a respectable buff to match (or out match) PLDs is blood curdling to those who've dedicated themselves to the "safe bet".

If anything, it's really sad that these "re-assurance" topics would be coming from MMO vets that 'should' know these things always happen, "What is OP one month, will be nerf'd the next."...it's MMO life.

The only real benefit I'm seeing to the changes made to the WAR class (that we/I know of) is to make the WAR sufficient enough to tank the turns of Coil....it's probably going to be minimal at best.

I really don't see any reason for the WAR v. PLD debate to continue.

You're about 3 weeks late here. Everyone else already realized the tanks will be on comparable footing in 2.1 and moved on.
