Main story quest With a little Elbow Grease

confirm, quest doesn't work

I have the same problem with this quest, can't progress with the story either.
My version is on the PS3 and on World: Sargatanas.

Character: Crystal Koneko
World: Sargatanas
Main Class: ARCANIST Lv 35

I am stuck at this point in the scenery as well. I am unable to trade the broken alembic to the turn in Marques nor am i able to do any "interaction"s with the turn in NPC, Marques. Please address.
