I think they want to show the remote play on PSVita in the next live letter while they show the current status of the PS4 client. To show that they play with the PS4 client and not the PC client.

its different games and development teams under the FF umbrella name, they don't have much to do with each other

That's quite common with western gamers, complain when nothing releases, complain when you have options.
