A quest involving Chocobo? Chocobo Eater suggestion

Hello,

I was just thinking that it would be great if Chocobo could have a bit more use.
Personally I almost never use them because they make me unable to register to DF.
(I know it comes in 2.1)

The quest itself to get a Chocobo was not very exciting.
Just get seal, get license. Done.

It would be great if we could have a quest or two that actually involves the Chocobo companion.
Like the sudden disappearance of Chocobos leading to our investigation and having to fight a Chocobo Eater.

Could be fun to need 2 people + 2 Chocobos or 4 people + 4 Chocobos for a special fight.

That could give a bit more use for our birds and give a bit of background to that specie. Could have a minion or vanity equipment or barding as reward as long as it is a fun mission to do.

Still hope about Chocobo raising, breeding and more activities around our birds.

Nice idea, last mission could be a 4 man requiring each player to have their chocos out for a total of 8. Then some story about the chocos being killed off and yours wants payback...lol.

Well maybe not that, but I don't get paid to write SEs stories so...anyhow, the armor and vanity stuff for rewards seems cool. I know you can already get a few different sets but another couldn't hurt.

They are adding a lot of choco-content, raising them and what not. Still, its a good idea...

Funny, because I made a thread a while back about including the chocobo eater. Though I suggested that it should be a FATE.

You mean just like the quest and history on LR: FFXIII?
