WAR buff worries for PLD

So can you try and elaborate why you think PLD 'deserves' "the" buff? Or is it because it's your favorite class. Btw, your comment fits perfectly in the other 100 threads on how WAR will probably will be the 'better' tank. Funny how people know already though.

Well done! I didn't see they were adding trolls as a new playable race. That's awesome.

Warriors won't replace Paladin. SE is trying to make it so people choose WAR/PLD (PLD/WAR) over PLD/PLD. Trying to make it so that double stacking classes is not something people do, unless DPS.

Simple due to unique debuffs brought by each class they will not replace each other entirely. Rage of Halone, upcoming Storm Path debuff. I do not know where you got the notion that over a course of a long fight not having 1 damage debuff wins over Warrior slightly advantageous if meticulously timed CD. Aside from that Speedruns will never be a Warrior's thing due to having only 1 dependable non charge up defensive CD, and without Flash blind things do not go a Warrior's way aside from TP starving.

In order to do Speedruns warriors still have to use way more gear than Paladin. As of current state Paladin is capable of Spiritbonding a full Militia armor and Accessories while running Wanderer Speedruns, even after 2.1 Warriors won't be able to achieve that feat. (I'm talking healer and other party members aldo do at least Accessories Spiritbonding while doing Speedrun).

But yeah if you meet some elitist in a one tank content your probably hear Warrior could do this and that come 2.1. But are they gamebreaking? Not really. Unless we're talking 5 Stacks Everybody's Grudge every 20 seconds...

I don't know if you noticed but PLD is perfectly capable of running everything in the game right now, Full DL and relic +1 and you're set for everything the game can throw at you (probably in 2.1 too).

War was slightly behind so it needed the bump, wanting to buff PLD for literally no reason apart from it being your favourite class is just :/

As long as paladin remains in their current state.. they will be able to continue tanking raids at a high level.. I wouldn't be worried at all about being out shined by a warrior.

Honestly while warriors are getting buffed.. I still don't believe they will match what a paladin brings to the table.

Like other people have said, SE is probably just attempting to get diversity in raid groups by having ppl bringing more then just Pld/Pld for tanks
