Looking for FC

Transferred here about 2 weeks ago because my char had been merged onto a JP server post beta (no clue, I'm from NY) Anyway, I've had no real luck with FC's yet. Seems either no one talks (quit my last one after 3 days NOONE talking) or one person is always talking (albeit to correct grammar or something else equally as silly)

Here's what I'd like. I can't/won't hardcore raid anymore - I WILL do casual runs, SOME scheduled runs (I have a family and don't want to end up sleeping in the garage over a piece of pixel gear XD) But mostly, I would like to find a group of people who actually TALK on an online game.

Lastly, if its of any importance. I have several 50 jobs - whm is relic and decent geared. Most crafts maxed. I have raided and played MMO's since FFXI, I also like long walks on the beach and - you get the idea.....

SO... hit me up in game if I seem like a fit to your FC. I'm also looking for a LS to avoid the horrors of duty finder. Thanks!

Hmm, I can definitely see where you're coming from on the social angle...

Are you much of a voice chat user? Most of my FC communicates through Mumble (a program like Teamspeak or Vent) instead of in-game typing since it's easier to talk than it is to type. We even have some people who sit in just to listen and respond through typing, so talking isn't required, but to anyone who doesn't use the program it would look like our FC was pretty stale. :P

We're a community driven, PvE oriented FC that's only a fraction of a greater multi-gaming community. We raid Coil (crruently at Turn 5) and play mostly in the evening, EST time. Saturday evenings we host Progression Night to get people caught up in gear, and Sunday evenings we host a community night where we all watch movies together (long distance, of course) and split off into playing games with one another (and it doesn't have to be FFXIV).

We're a pretty casual FC, we're not doing any raid content yet, though we have a few members in that zone.
We utilize a handful of linkshells for content and such and would like to eventually get a few raid groups going that are from the FC.

You are in luck that Ipsen Castle may be of an environment that you are looking for.

I can vouch for Cyan Dvai. He and I along with several members of Ipsen Castle were members of a linkshell during 1.0. Our current FC's have mutual respect for each other.
