Character Stat Screen

Are there any plans to allow us to hover over a stat and show us how much the stat is affecting our character. Kind of like when you hover over your crit stat, instead of it saying something along the lines of "You have 450 crit, crit increases you chance to deal critical dmg" can it be "You have 450 crit, increases chance to crit by x%".

I was told they had it set up like the way I am asking in beta, but for some reason they changed it. Are there any plans on changing it back? Being able to have an idea of how stats effect your character make things a bit more fun because you can just see how you'll be effected when you equip a piece of gear as opposed to having to parse many fights just to see the difference. There is really no harm in showing us how the stats work - so why not allow us to do so?
