lvl 50 and grinding for gears - Bored

Hi im new in the game been playing for 2 months, when i hit lvl 50 in my scholar i felt bored and started doing AK/WP i have full DL set, trying to improve my gear is the only thing that keep me active and quiting is no an option, my team/friends from other games are migrating here. Everyone seems to like the game but me. is just that i dont like how much hp trash mobs have in dungeon, in general all mobs are super tankish (Im a scholar so takes a awhile to take them down)

So i run wp/ak 3 times a day. I have in mind that i need to complete titan for my relic weapon, other than that what else FUN can i do? i feel im done with the game and want to move forward which i want but cant because this is the favorite game of my boyfriend.
My only hope is the pvp update in december.

Im very disappointing i dont know if is me or is the game but i feel frustrated and fail.

what you guys think?

2.1 is in 2 week you should wait for it and work toward your relic weapon meanwhile.

If I played a game I don't enjoy to please a boyfriend, I'd be frustrated as well.

I'd be disappointed and bored too if all I did was grind dungeons all day long.

After you get your relic you can try out Coil. You can also level other classes and see if you enjoy them more. There is plenty to do if you're new (ish).

You should give the trades a try. If XIV nailed one aspect of the game, it's the crafting and gathering system. It's just so fun. Other than that, I try spending my time with friends helping them get things done. I don't even have a Relic yet due to the mindless grind you must go through to get the gear to make that quest achievable. (I can't grind. It hurts my brain) But stick it out until 2.1. Many have high hopes for it, and I'm sure it will add a lot more options for everyone. As about 1000 people have said before me, The game is young. It'll grow. :)

Ask yourself ,grind the gears for what?

Try leveling other classes,do some crafting, gathering,
or just stop playing this game

3 relics so far, working on lvling 2 more jobs , relics for those then work on bard .. not too keen on melee dps tbh .

There isn't much to do if you only play one job . Crafting last but tbh Im not really into crafting .

2.1 better be good cause im going to have 6 lvl 50s with full DL armor and relic by then probably . Ive also done coil up to Turn 4 . Hopefully gear up with lvl 80 armor in 2.1 .

Same here bored to hell. I play less and less, coil 2x a week and waiting for the patch. Because I ran WP 200x to make gear there is nothing left beside waiting.

Why not to ask your boyfriend? :confused:
