Chat box problem (PS3)

I have a problem with my chat log. It is positioned on top of my hotbar right in the middle above my MP. I've tried going into options and even tried to mess about with the HUD. It has always been that way, and although rather frustrating I just got on with the game. My brother made a character on it and the chat box is snug in the bottom left corner. How can I move my chat box from that awkward position and into the corner?

I still haven't had any luck trying to move it :(
