I do not know about that option, sorry, but it should be possible to borrow a DVD Drive, install the game, then remove the DVD Drive. I do not believe it needs the DVD once the game is installed.
If you do not have access to a USB DVD drive, it is possible to have a friend put the DVD on their computer, then allow you to mount it over the network (you have to be on same home network as them) then install it over network (or at least copy the files over).
If they didn't changed that till now.
You should be able to download the client via Mogstation, where you created you account. Log in there and take a closer look.
If you didn't find anything ask em via Facebook or Twitter, if you use it ofc.
Forgive me for asking but why does your laptop not have a DVD-ROM? A laptop capable of running this game would have at least a DVD-ROM if not BD-ROM (which will read DVDs). Most actually come with -R or -RW (Write/ReWrite Drives).
My laptop has a modular component slot which when I purchased it came with a second graphics card. I can change that with an optical drive or an extra cooling fan should I choose to do so.
Given how most things are available via download or stream these days it doesn't surprise me that laptops coming without an optical drive is becoming more common.
Well my laptop has a DVD writer. But it can be taken out and replaced for a second hard disk. And to be really honest.. Apart from installing Windows I barely ever use it. Physical drives are not a must have anymore I think. Since you can now install Windows from a USB stick as well.
I'd link to the client download but Misaki got there first.
To the OP you might want to consider grabbing a cheap USB drive. When I built my new desktop rig I didn't even bother with a CD drive, it was something that I used so little on my old desktop that I felt it didn't warrant a purchase.
A USB drive for £10 will come in handy for those 1 - 2 times a year you do need a CD drive though :)
