Monk Allagan Set

Is it intended that the monk allagan set does not give enough accuracy to fight in turn 5?

It looks like SE is pushing for a mix-n-match equipment playstyle versus sets.

I know there are BiS for monk but a set should give enough stats to participate in content at that equipment level

MNK allagan set and myth set are fine. Mix and Match. I like that style. If you like it for the look get both sets and when vanity comes in 2.2 put them in the slots.

Not sure where monk stands with it's stats on full allagan. But as far as bard goes the game forces mixing and matching to even get close to the acc cap, with full allagan we are about 50 acc off from the cap.

Unless one set of gear is higher ilvl than the other it's honestly better that it does force you to mix and match as it actually makes you think on gear choices. Yes the sets may not match(until 2.2....) but for now it's either look at the stats they give or gimp yourself and your raid by not having the required stats to hit things.

Full Allagan except head (and feet, myth and All. boots are identical), but with Dragoon (Maiming) accessories is apparently enough, from what I've heard

It's intended when there are two sets of the same level, to mix and match and optimize your performance to a specific need.

Just keep your accuracy up and fill in the rest of your slots with Allagan

You're gonna lose the Acc bonus from Relic +1 (30~ Acc) if you get Allagan Weapon, as it'll be a ilvl95 soon, you'd better use this one and lose the +30~ Acc.

Allagan weapon already allows you to itemise a superior set of equipment than you can with Sphairai +1. The buff to that weapon is just the cherry on top.

Body: Allagan
Hands: Allagan
Waist: Allagan
Legs: Melee
Feet: Allagan
Neck: Maiming
Ear: Maiming
Bracelet: Maiming
Ring: Maiming
Ring: Striking
Food: HQ Devilled Eggs

Result: 482 Accuracy, 531 Crit, 286 Det, 373 S.Spd.

It goes without saying that this is for Turn 5. Lower content can be done with sets that sacrifice accuracy for other stats.
