I hope Shantotto is a challenge and not some spam fest fate, but if I was betting man (and I am) my money would be on spam fest.

It's a FATE, it'll be a spamfest.

Haha, that Spriggan suit in FFXI looks hideous. :p The mandragora looks a little perplexed at facing a spriggan too (ironically, in FFXI mobs with the name 'spriggan' were actually undead type mob and not the cute rock-eating bunnies we know of in FFXIV. ;)

Honestly Devs, enough with the FATE. They are fun in small doses but you could have made Shantotto a 8 or 24 man trial instead of another spamfest FATE.

^. We lost a lot of potential for accessibility. I mean even look at the new dungeons, 4 man and DF only for 16 people instead of the ability to go in with a full FC.

Was that... a giant Shantotto and a Shantotto minion? o.o

Not sure how to respond to this one? Last time I checked DF was open to everyone. In fact FATE can be less accessible. Go try to solo the FFXIII FATE. You can easily make a Lv.20 DF trial then ramp it up to HM for the end game crowd.

Bleh only 2 shots for 14. The rest seems to be 11 gear and toys. I will take the minion, but I would like the outfits more.
