SCH in Coil question

Hi. I main PLD but I've basically got my relic for SCH (beat Titan and grinding tomes)

Just a question for future incase I need to go healer instead of tank in T1. Would my fairy activate slimes on Cad if I placed her?

I'm usually too busy to notice what the SCH does during the fight. As long as I don't die I'm happy.

Just don't want to go into T1 with my SCH and noob it up.

Not to hijack the topic or anything but I wanted to ask about baiting tail swipe with a pet. Someone suggested to me a few days ago that I could plant my fairy behind snake to bait tail swipe instead of letting a melee dps do it. However, another person also told me that it doesn't work and that someone needs to be moving in and out in order for tail swipe to trigger. I just want to know if placing my fairy behind snake will help at all?

It will kill the fairy. Tell the melee not to be lazy.

It won't kill the fairy as suggested above (It takes reduced damage from the swipe), but it will not trigger it.
