Is there really a reason to put the 5th pet attack on my hotbar? Doesn't Enkindle use the appropriate pet special attack anyway? Can you use 1 pet special attack, swift cast the other pet and invoke the special attack if you have them on hotbar?

No, enkindle has a 5 (I think) minute cd so you can't swap pets and recast it. It'd be more accurate to call it a buff spell for your pet rather than a pet attack, since you're casting it on your pet.
What I mean is if I have the specific pet's special attack on my hot bar, can I cast the titan's one (earthen fury), summon ifrit and cast ifrit's attack (hellfire?). I think they share CD for the same type of skill but not sure since I'm still new to summoner.
I know it sounds like a good idea on paper.....but thats really not going to matter. This isn't like FFXI where you chain cast summons and such. It's much more useful to have one pet out and not keep casting and losing DPS to change it up. Titan is only good when you're soloing. Ifrit is not going to have the hit points that Titan has. Which means he dies more. Which means you have to cast another summon. Which means you'll probably die.
TL:DR - Don't change summons because it's not worth it.
Pet skills all share CDs on their skill slots. So while the pet's unique abilities have their own icons you can hotbar, it's best to just use enkindle for all 3 since they have a 5m cd either way.
