Fun, laid back Free Company looking for new members! <Kindred Spirits>

Hello! Karmello Waltz here! :D

Me and a few friends dreamt up Kindred Spirits back in Beta, and most of our original members were based in the UK, but we welcome people from all over the world! At our core, what matters most to us is having fun. There are no special requirements for joining, all we ask is that you are considerate to others and want to make some new friends and to give something back to the community. It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out in Eorzea or if you’re at end game and really want to find some people to run Crystal Tower with come 2.1. Perhaps this is your first MMO and you’re playing this because you love Final Fantasy (like me)! Or maybe this is your first Final Fantasy game. You could be an MMO addict! We all have different reasons for playing, but no matter what, community is crucial!

I find that some of my favourite memories of this game have just been simple ones of hanging out in Gridania and chatting with other players. It is possible to go through this game without saying a word, but I really think it’s a much greater experience if you interact with others and make the experience more fun for yourself as well as others around you. I initially started this game because I wanted to invest in a new Final Fantasy story, but I now find myself staying for the friends I have made. We have never been huge, but I would rather make good friends and establish personality than recruit people for numbers alone. Knowing members on an individual name to name basis is really important to me.

A bit more about me: I grew up with Final Fantasy and the series holds a huge place in my heart. My first ever console game was Final Fantasy IX, and it has remained my favourite title in the series ever since. I'm a huge fan of the music, and I’ve been fortunate enough to attend both Distant Worlds concerts in London. It's great to have a new world to immerse myself in, and I love the lore! This is my first MMO, and will probably be my only one, but I plan on seeing it through to the very end.

Our forums will be up and running again soon, which means that we will be able to vote on where we would like to build our base in 2.1! I am also considering setting up a separate Linkshell for those who are already in a Free Company but would still like to hang out and perhaps ask for assistance with content. Right now ‘Besaid Island’ seems to give off the right vibes for it, so it’s just a place for friends to chill out and talk. Let me know what you think!

Anyway I’ve said enough! If you are interested in joining, please let me know! We’re all very laid back and new faces are always welcome. Tell us a little bit about yourself and I can hopefully get you set up relatively fast in game!

I'd be interested in joining your mob as my ex FC pretty much fell apart.

I'm 44 and play every evening after work and all day Sundays. As my main (Bard) I've completed all HM primals and about to get my relic weap (just some WP runs needed for the oil).

Can I ask how many active players you have? Can you at least field 8 regular players for end-game stuff?
