Chat-specific Keyboard

Hihi~

I am a chat-specific keyboard user that enjoys setting their chatmode to linkshell and typing away like there's no tomorrow.

The only problem is that, if I open the chatlog using a letter and not a slash...

TThis often happens. That is to say, the first letter in my sentence often repeats itself!

I'm all but certain that this isn't anything to do with my keyboard - in fact, you can test this yourself by opening the chatlog via any letter, hitting escape, and then trying again (if you do this about 100 times you'll witness the first letter repeating itself a good 20 times) - and would like to know whether the devs are aware of this/if there's a fix coming~?

Not only this.

Sometimes the first letter is doubled, sometimes its missing (not sure what triggers each bug. The missing part is like i wanting to write "Hello" and only the "ello" appearing) and any non-letter, non-spacebar or "/" also do not triggers the text input window. As example i cannot start a phrase usng neither acentuation, like "É" or "Ñ" or numbers (numbers from main keyboard, not numpad).

As chat-specific keyboard, any input outside numpad should trigger the text input window and insert the respective character or leave acentuation ready for next character input.

Many people experience this. The Dev team knows. Last I saw posted by a mod, they weren't sure what was causing it. Regardless they know it is an issue, have confirmed they are working it. Rather, "wworking" on it. ;) A search of the the bug forums should net the answers the mods have previously posted about it, though it would be nice to get an update.

Hey mods, any chance we can get some word on actual progress beyond, "we know about it?" Maybe? Pretty please? With a cherry on top?

it's also annoying that you cant type a symbol or number first with out pressing space to prompt chat bar.
