Housing Furniture: Move it and lose it?

Am I the only one a lil preturbed about the fact that some furniture placed in the yard or inside the home cannot be moved or you lose it? I understand that once placed it cannot be resold or traded, but to lose something completely if you decide to move it. What are we supposed to do if we ever decide to rearrange our home, much like we do in rl once the same setup gets boring over time. I really think this should be reconsidered as in XI I dont recall ever permanently losing anything if I decided to rearrange my moghouse and I've played XI for 10 years. SE seriously please reconsider this move it and lose it on some items.

Maybe when we get more details we could understand the reason why certain furnishings will be lost.

Doesn't say it will be lost if you move it. So where is this text saying the item will be lost if you move them?

I took it as certain stuff like possibly plants would be lost upon removing them. There was no mention of anything being lost while moving, just removing.

Whoever designed housing obviously tore their hair out when they had to remove so many armoirs and waterjugs from their mog houses when they finally got all their mannequins.
