LF Social Linkshell!

I just recently picked up the game after reading about all of the bug fixes and work that has gone into it so far, and I'm having a blast. My only complaint is that the game seems to be suffering from a low population at least in the early rankings.

Soooo, that's why I'm here! I've been shouting in Uld for the past three nights for a newbie friendly linkshell, but I haven't gotten much of a response per se and I'm getting lonely! :confused:

I'm currently a Rank 17 Thaumaturge on Selbina. My character's name is "Haha Hehe." I've been hanging out at Camp Drybone and grinding away! I'm based in the U.S. and I'm usually on in the evenings after work (GMT -6:00.) I played FFXI for a good while a couple of years ago, and I'm looking to try to relive that experience in this game.
