Possible regiment mode bug

Recently In game I was in a party that decided it was going to do battle regiment mode. I had never used it before being new to the game. I attempted to use the hotkey Shift+1 and it did not work at first on the selected mob. Afterwards it would work at random sometimes lighting up on a different enemy. Knowing it wasn't my machine keyboard or connection I experimented a little and found that the way I locked onto the enemy determined If I could use Shift+1,2,3 ex or G to enable regiments. Double clicking the cursor to lock on and then using attack abilities didn't work. I had to target and then attack out of range before the buttons functioned properly. Occasionally after using a regiment in combat it would stop function as well seemingly random. I looked up plenty of guides about Battle regiment and none had anything close to this. Don't know if anyone else is having the same issues as I am, sorry If there is already a post!

I don't think the problem is related to target lock. I play without lock on and I have the same issues with shift+# not working all the time. I will try to do it the way you described and see if that will make it so it does work all the time. Sure does make it extremely inconvenient with groups of mobs if this is the case.
