Rage of Halone sound effect

Can we please revise the sound effect for Rage of Halone? It was a lot less offensive in 1.0. It would be fine if it went off once every two minutes, or even once a minute, but having to hear it once every 8-10 seconds in every single party I'm in ruins the whole entire audio experience of this game. It really seems about 3-4 times louder than every single other ability in the game and sticks out like a sore thumb.

Offensive? I happen to like the sound of it, it helps me keep my pacing and rotation going without having to look at anything. If you don't wanna hear it, you can turn down that sound effect in your options.

Great workaround, we can just kill all the sound effects in the game to get rid of a single particularly annoying one.

Anyway, I agree with the OP. To be honest it's not really the sound itself that's the issue, it *sounds* fine. It's more that it seems to play twice as loud as any other one. Combined with the fact that this is basically playing every 7.5 seconds, it can get pretty grating.

I love it. It lets me know when I've run into a pld that does *nothing* but RoH.

And yeah, they exist.

I had one insist that that it was the highest enmity "combo" for PLDs despite me trying my best to explain how Additional Effects and Combo Potency worked.

This was at level 50 in Wanderer's Palace, mind.

I have been seeing them very very frequently lately. It's truly saddening.

On topic, to be honest, I like the new sound effect better... in 1.0 it sounded like you were beating on enemies with a cardboard tube. It could stand to be a little quieter in the first few blows though.

I find it more grating when the tank seems to think it's the ONLY skill they need to use (granted, doesn't happen as often). 7.5 seconds? Try 2.5...

I'll agree with this. Its simply too loud compared to others.
I've also noticed, during fates, this specific sound effect is more or less the only one I'm able to hear all the time.
if I turn down the sound effect volume ingame, to the point where this is at a normal volume to me, all other sound effects can barely be heard.

But yes, the sound effect itself, is ok. Just too loud compared to others atm.

The only sound effect I absolutely despise is the DRG Ring of Thorns, my god I hate people that spam that while waiting for things.
