For some reason this just started today, but after a few minutes my game sound just goes silent. I have checked my computer, played videos etc..and sound is fine..its just on the game.
I noticed that several people a few months ago, when doing a search, had the same issue but no fix was listed..anyone else having the same problem? :confused:
As soon as I log off, close the game and restart the audio is back.. well just for a few minutes...then rinse and repeat!
Had a similar problem with my Real Audio onboard sound. Turned out to be a heating issue with my video cards (fans had gone out on both cards, causing them to overheat), once I replaced my video cards the problem went away.
I've had an issue the entire time I've been playing the game, where if I unplug my headphones and plug them back in, I get no sound from the game. Everything else works fine. Music, videos, other MMOs....just not FF14. Really wish they would look into that.
It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
