So apparently we can't form organized 24 mans for Crystal Tower. Thoughts from the raiding community?

I read that it's iLvL 55 minimum with iLvL 80 loot. You can't form groups of 24 (8 only) and for people using iLvL90 the only benefit is vanity gear.

I don't even know what to say... what a let down.

I've always expected CT to be FFXIV's equivalent to WoW's raid finder. So if you're familiar with that, the notion of running raid finder with a full 24 man premade is retarded to begin with. Really not bothered by this.

The problem is that people can't play with their FC members, not anything to do with difficulty.

I'm pretty sure it was always stated for a LONG time that CT is meant to be in a tier lower than Coil. You should take some antidepression pills if you are let down for all those months.

Why did you even make the sub in first place, since the info was already known?

Only one thought: man they sure love orange and blue.

The whining over this is kind of ridiculous. It's not ideal, but I doubt it's permanent. I'd rather have the dungeon out and play with 8 FC buddies than wait for another two months.

I also wonder if maybe it's 24 man, but you're split up into groups of 8, ala Phoenix Cave from FF6. Theoretically that would be a cool idea, as long as one group wasn't messing up another group's progress in some way. Just spitting ideas.

This is pretty much the nail in the coffin most of us had feared was coming for quite a while. The dev team they brought in has been suspect from the very beginning and has constantly shown they have zero idea how or intention of making this a sustainable game for anyone who plays longer than an hour a week. Sadly it could have been easily avoided with any amount of true testing(honestly I'm not even certain they had anyone with mmo experience test this game with some of the things they've done and things said by devs and even Yoship himself).

They picked a dangerous game in hoping the casual players wont reach max level in the next four months and start dropping like flies. I can't see the game going anywhere but floundering like SWTOR and the like.

Disappointed by the PUG factor of the CT, which certainly wasn't known. I couldn't care less for iLvL80 gear, but it was at least something to do with my FC friends until 2.2 was released.
