Horrible Lag in Garuda Hard Mode this week

I recently started doing Garuda Hard Mode this week and the lag is unbearable.
I'm not talking like "oh noes I was sure I was behind a rock but I got hit"
I mean my screen will freeze for about 10 seconds with nobody moving except myself. I've never had such horrid lag spikes until I reached this primal. Not only that but the other day I even disconnected in the middle of Garuda twice with a 90000 error. I ran Amdapor Keep and Wanderer's Palace without having issues.

Is this something recent that's been going on? Am I the only one? I'm trying to farm a weapon but every single time I run into this terrible lag spike issue and being a healer it becomes a nightmare. :( If anyone has a solution or tips I'm all ears!

So its lag... Will SE be fixing this? I thought it was my graphics card the whole time. I bought a new one and the same shyt still happens....

I always get random lag spikes during that fight. Not much you can do about it really.

Even better is when she goes invisible and untargetable after doing her jump and coming back down, all while you're trying to main tank her :/ She can still hit you, but all you can do is sit there and take the hits or try and tank swap.

oh I'm glad to hear other people are having issues. I thought my internet was being wonky but it only specifically happens in that primal.
I'm surprised 2.5 months later this still hasn't been fixed.(；一_一)

There are a lot of times where I just cannt see or target her on screen after she teleport, I have to wait for her to tele again, only happens on her, can see adds and the twins fine it's only her model.

like I posted on the other thread, 600000^ subscribers x 12.99 per person that is 7794000.oo USD per month. x 2.5 that equals 19485000.oo usd they have made so far. why cant they just use tiny bit of this money to fix the lag?


Last night i went to the behemoth fate for the very first time, and I was killed by an invisible behemoth and i didnt get it see it until it was killed. what a great experience. :mad:

oh that totally happened to me too! Near the end of the fight I saw the tank fighting her but her model was just...not there. I was only able to target her by clicking on her name in the enemy aggro bar...

Yoshi explained why that is happening on the large scale FATEs in detail in the last live letter and said they are looking for a way to fix it. It's down to the world being divided into a number of grid sections, and view priority being given to items in your current segment first, so if there are enough players in your current segment to reach the maximum display limit, the NM won't show even if it is just one square over.

I had the invisible Garuda problem, but so far Battleping has fixed it. But they should do something to make sure that if you get a lag spike when she teleports, she will always re-appear when the connection problem resolves.

A lot of people have been complaining about this over the last week or so. I spent last night getting hit by Titan AOEs when I was on the other side of the platform.
