Bots Bots bots everywhere

well yes so many freaken bots lately. but now you cant see them. some how there under the terrain botting npc. you can click on the npc their attacking then click their name. but its the only way. not only this they bot trees for wood and bot mining from underground.

an awesome system being distorted by bots.

we need a better report system.

one where we can right click there name and report.

on the click of report it will record that players location. X Y and Z.
it will also record map location and the actions done with in the next 10 mins.
asking us to do so much work to report bots makes the game painful. more likely to not report them. and more likely find a game not over ran buy bots.

Stop offering the game for free. make the game members only. how the hell do they keep making accounts if you have to buy the game. did they hack or hijack the account making system as well?

make the software unusable after the account is banned. banned all IP's the system will allow.

i started playing ffxiv because i was sick of bots in f2p games. and now to come here and now this p2p game is over run. fire the CEO because the Job is NOT GETTING DONE!

to stop player spamming about gold sites in /tells.
Remove the player finder. make only a party finder system. remove any option to send tells to party finder.

Make all Gil account bound. till user has done some kind of quest system the bots would not waste time on. limit the market transactions on Gils till the quest have been finished. the quests should require up to 40 hours of questing. this would also limit the amount of bots being banned or made. un quested user can trade a max of 40k gils a day. do not make it based on lvl. because the bots will just lvl up to trade with that bot account. when 40k gils worth items sold on market the items listed are temp removed till the next day.
Red flag system for users that do many trades per day. a player doing more then 15 trades a day are audited threw the system code.
red flag system for users that have one gathering skill only high lvl and always being used more then 8 hours a day.

red flag does not mean the user is banned. it means a GM should investigate the matter for usage of botting accounts.

red flag system records players name who and what was traded. time and date. farther data is applied to what each user did and how long they played before the trade in the last 48h also a full list of lvls each player has in a sub menu.

Red Flag for All big trades over 1m gils recorded. and the last 20 trades of trades recorded (follow the Money) gils in this case. there for a player log event we can see of all our trades we have done in the last 20 transactions with others. the same one a GM can see in case of a red flag. similar to the market.

red Flag for any items on the market sold for over 1000x its value based on normal sell value.
exp: item worth 300 gils selling for 1,000,000 gils

Red flag for mail system as well with limited transactions. Till quest is done

as many limits there are now in game like retainers mounts classes this one should not make a major impact on the system. just less and less bots.


I know a lot of people would not like to see this kind of change. but it would be for the best to keep the market value stable. and the game to be enjoyable.

i do not want to see gils removed from game. i don't even want them to be bound. but what else is there. every game that has made currency bound has almost none to none bots at all. this is just a limited restriction.
