Mitigating Death Sentence help

So basically like the topic says just looking for any advice people have for consistently mitigating death sentence damage. Every once in a while we'll have the tank get hit by death sentence+plummet+physical damage that pretty much auto-wipes them. So just looking for any mitigation tips people might have to help with that.

Adloquium, Stoneskin, Virus, Eye-For-Eye, Sacred Soil, Rain of Death, and the tank's own CDs should be enough. All of the aforementioned can be applied before every death sentence(assuming you have at least one arcanist or black mage).

you can also have an off tank provoke twintania off after a death sentence, but regardless during twister phase this won't be possible since the off tank will be busy stunning dreadknights.

If you're looking for something constant, try having the WHM use Stoneskin. You always know when Death Sentence is going to hit, so just prep a Stoneskin to land about a second after the attack before she readies Death Sentence (otherwise it won't take effect until AFTER the tank takes the damage).

I'm actually not sure when Death Sentence occurs until it's already casting it. Does it happen every 30-45s or something like that? I tried to look at videos to see how often it comes, but the timing seemed to change, so I thought it might be random-ish. Or maybe it depends on the phase.

Setup FFXIV App for a Death Sentence notification. Set the delay to 30 seconds (I believe death sentence is 30-35 seconds unless he gets caught up doing fire spit then it will come after the next plummet.) This allows me to put up my own stoneskin most of the time. We also have a virus rotation and keep rain of death up for Death Sentences. I try to save my cooldowns as much as possible if I miss a stoneskin or it appears someone isn't going to get a virus off due to conflag or twisters then I use the cooldowns.

You can just make an in game macro that the MT pushes right as the first death sentence is cast. Death sentences come roughly 35 seconds apart, so if you wanted a macro that is going to give you a 5 second warning every time:

Something like that.

Oh, there is one last little thing you can do to prepare for surviving Twintania's burst damage. Rotate Mantra and Fey Illumination(both of which are on a 120 second cooldown). These don't affect lustrate sadly, but they do affect regen and adloquium(and therefore its shield).
