Time to play?
Greetings to all!
Picked up a CE today, ($25 at Gamestop).
I played weeks of Beta, and was very sad with the release quality of the game, so did not purchase back then.
I'm ready to go, where's the good servers for playability? I've learned Uldah is the place to be for community in game. Also looking for an LS most likely sooner rather than later!
My play time is West Coast USA, 8 PM to midnight any day of the week.
Thanks!

Well Selbina is the most populated server out of all of them, however I'm not sure if it has more NA players than anything as I'm from UK so not quite sure if this was the best choice for me.
But I started off at Limsa and have now travelled to Ul'dah and it appears that most of the players are all there.

I don't think anyone can say for certain which server has the most players. Unless SE releases some statistics, we're only left to our own devices and I don't think anyone has or wants to play every server to find out. Even then they'd have to assume since we don't even have the option to see how many players are online anymore, due to that tool being removed months ago.
I just remembered though that I heard when creating a new character, they had chocobo symbols that indicated which server has more players. I don't remember that when I started, so I can't say if that's true. That being said, I'm sure there are even inaccuracies with that considering all the inactive players.
Overall, I'd imagine the servers are roughly the same.

Yeah I've recently started again and the chocobo symbols are still there to represent the population.
However nothing suggests what 1 chocobo represents but it's left to assume that 3 means very populated.
Not a lot to go by but hey....
But like you said, it doesn't count for the inactive players.

I'm on figaro in gridania but i dont see much people lol

That's what I mean, most of the population have fled to Ul'dah.
Someone here also mentioned that it's worse in Gridania than it is in Limsa
However I think I'll stick around Limsa because if everyone just flees to Ul'dah then the situation is never going to get any better and it will be just boring for newbies like myself.
As someone said before, it has become a trend.
