I feel stuck

I rolled this character as a Highlander Hyur, as I think they're really the only cool, manly looking race, so I decided to roll as a physical DPS class, seemingly fit. After playing for a while, I don't quite like the marauder playstyle, and I think I want to "reroll" to a caster. However, I have a lot of my points stacked into STR, DEX and VIT. I feel like I've forced myself to play a physical class, and the only way of effectively playing a caster is to roll a brand new character, something which is seemingly discouraged by SE, (conceptually) paying for extra characters slots and whatnot.

Is there something I'm overlooking? Am I reading too much into this? Is SE going to rework this in one of their patches down the road? I don't read forums much, I'm a fairly casual player in this game.

If you open your main menu, and go to "Point Allocation," you can click on "Re-Assign." That will allow you to reassign all the points you've previously allocated. Depending on how many points you've already allocated, you may have to click on Reassign, then wait a few hours to click on Reassign again, before you can reallocate all your points. But it seems unlikely that you've already hit physical level 50, so you'll probably just have to Reassign once or twice.

Bear in mind though, that they are getting rid of the current point allotment system. It might be a good idea to wait one more month.
