Scholar, summons and Steady

So, am I doing something wrong or every time that I use a summon ability I got to press Steady?

Currently, yes you have to reset them into steady after you manually input a command. We have all been hoping they fix this eventually.

This. The automatic reset to Guard after a skill cast command is such a pain. I just let me fairy blow CDs and micromanage Embrace as best I can. It's enough to get you through any and all raid content available.

They'll hold back on most cooldowns if you put them on Obey. You need a target first, but after that they'll remain on Obey, even after telling them to heal, heel (!!!), use a cooldown, or placing them. I haven't really tested it for summoners, but for scholars the only cooldown that gets used is Eos' Whispering Dawn.

it works fine for SMN, I do obey all the time with garuda, she spams main attack and I trigger contagion.

As for Selene, if you leave her in default mode, she will cast the spell speed alone, leaving you to trigger embrace or skill speed if needed.

Eos will blow her regen CD, but you can manage healing potency and magic deff.

It's tolerable using Obey.
