Well with some peoples thinking of this game being 3 years old. On top of that Legacy players most have all 50's in DoW and DoM ( and they don't want to make other character). I say the answer to that will be very soon 2.1 or 2.2. That's just my guess.

First of all, we are planning a new race for an expansion pack. For the classes and jobs, we will introduce them through patches because all of the Legacy players have level 50 jobs anyway. When we introduce new classes and jobs we will probably increase the level cap at the same time.
About what I want to introduce- it’s more like what I think I have to introduce. Something related to guns because the (musketeer) guild in the game. Something related to that I think I have to introduce.
Also I do feel that scouting classes are lacking so I want to bring in Theif, Ninja and those that have to do with stealth. Also more casters like Blue Mage and Red Mage are something I would like to add.
Whatever the players want, I want too.
It's probably not going to be until the 1st expansion which is probably about 2 years away <.<
Yeah, I believe it has been stated that a cap increase will come with an official expansion, and will not be a mere patch regardless of how big said patches may or may not be. It won't be any time soon. Remember that hardly anyone has finished their mythology armour sets by now, let alone for more than one job, and then there is allagan! All of the current iLVL90 sets will be necessarily rendered semi-obsolete with a cap increase to create a draw for the new gear, and they won't be doing that any time soon while so many people are in the midst of farming the current iLVL90 equipment.
First major expansion, and not before.
Save this for the first expansion but don't wait 2 yrs to release the first expansion. That is my thought on this.

I say by late summer 2014 we'll have level cap to 55. That gives everyone a chance to play catch up and then keep legacy people happy. 2.1 is to early and same with 2.2 maybe 2.5 we'll get it.
