'Throw Some Rings on It' quest bugged

The quest says I have completed 7/12 copper rings. I have 12 in my inventory. I don't know why it stopped at 7 and am not sure when it stopped as I wasn't looking. I've tried logging out, abandoning the quest etc but it just stays on 7.
