With vanity slots coming soon, why not let weavers and such, make npc vanity clothing? Like this!

Give female chars dresses to wear. Those kinds of dresses would also be fantastic as a crafting class clothing too.

Where is the main article on vanity slots?
I ask because in all my incarnations I am very much a clothes-horse, so right now I have gearsets for "Serious Combat / SHTF", which are wonderful protection and for the most part horribly ugly; and gearsets for running around town and for social occasions, which are far less protection but at least don't look like I had a clown explode all over me.
Not to open a can of rotgrubs but one thing SW:TOR gets right, is the vanity wear... although you can always say it's ridiculous that a "Dancer's Top" protects as well as the heaviest armor in the milieu, if you slot the same mods.
So far I don't think there has been a major article on vanity slots. All the public knows so far:
- likely to be released in 2.2
- likely will be a melding system done by crafters
- there will be some class restrictions (no mage's in plate mail and such)
- Is disabled for PvP (BOO!)
To anyone who makes claims like this I like to point out 95% of rpg gear is about showboating and wouldn't be practical in real life. Anyone who calls a bikini unrealistic yet thinks adventuring around in suit of full platemail is totally viable needs to do more research (wearing either would most likely get you killed IRL).
It's cute I think its a good idea. Armorer and blacksmith could make vanity armor as well which would be cool too.
