Add these to make FFXIV ARR the best MMORPG EVER
1. BCNM - Normal monsters drop rare seals. Collect enough of these seals and players can form 4 man, 8 man and 24 man groups to enter an instance to fight special bosses that drops rare items.
2. Special Materia - Extremely rare materia that gives status effects. (2% sleep, paralyze, etc) Bring back the FF7 Materia feel.
3. Increase level cap to 55 for now - Level 50 to 55 are Aether Levels. In order to gain experience, one must form parties and kill monsters in the 'Aether Zones'. Add 'Aether Zones' that have elite monsters that have a lot of HP and are extremely hard to kill. These monsters are aggressive and if you try to take them on yourself, you'll most likely die. (This brings back FFXI grinding, but would only take weeks instead of years)
4. Non-scripted boss fights - A lot of luck is involved in winning because sometimes the boss will do back to back attacks that most can't survive, but this will please many who are looking for fights that involves skills instead of memorizing fight patterns.
5. Monster sieges - Monsters will siege camps such as Camp Dragonhead and players will not be able to teleport or use any of the amenities until the monsters are cleared. Also, the monsters will continue to advance from camp to camp until they get all the way to the main cities of Uldah, Gridania, and Limsa. Ultimately, if players do not clean up the camps of these monsters, nobody can port anywhere. Can even make it Garlean Invasion. You get points for contributing in the defense of these camps. You can use these points to get siege gears. These siege gears gives very good bonuses when used in sieges. (Going to have to fix the culling issue for this to work. Make it cull players, not the boss)
