Logitech F710 Controller issue/s

Hi guys
Not sure if anyone can help me but,..
My wife and i both use Logitech F710 controllers for our game/s.
Mine is fine, but her issue is that it seems it is no longer being recognised by her laptop.
Yes, batteries have been changed, Logitech app uninstalled and installed multiple times,
tried my controller in her laptop with same problem, tried hers in mine, same problem, logitech app does not pick hers up, usb ports are fine, deleted drivers before re-installing... tried everything i can think of... i think it comes back to being her laptop coz my controller wont work in hers, but if thats the case, why not her controller work in my laptop?
