Looking for Linkshell (New Player)

I was gonna suggest posting in the Figaro forums, but it looks like you already did ^-^

Another thing you may want to try is checking people around areas your frequent. When you use Check, it will display the character name and active shell on that person. Then just try sending that person a /tell!

I'll be honest: sometimes people are douchy about being asked, but many people are not :) I know we got a few of our members from people just asking then applying on our site. (sadly, we are on Besaid)

Good for you folks for looking for a LS early. I think it's hugely helpful to get involved with a LS as quickly as possible.

Like Frisque said, it's often helpful to check out the forums for your server. Lots of linkshells post "advertisements" in those forums. You can read about the linkshells, and then decide which one you want to join. There are similar forums for each server on the Zam and Eorzeapedia sites, which you can check out.

Another option is just to join people on behests and leves. Having fun with other players is a good way to get invited to their linkshell. I've been fortunate enough to join a couple of linkshells that way.
