Recent Server Crash

Anyone know why these servers crashed?

It's still down 2 hours later for me.

No one really know why the servers down only SE :) there having issue noting more noting less.

Not sure but I have a sneaky feeling it is something to do with those pesky Lalafells ^^

Yeah too many lalafails... Maybe they crashed the wards, which crashed the whole server.

They should not allow synthesis inside the market wards, this might reduce crashing (maybe)

You bring up a good point maybe it does put unnecessary stress on the wards. Oh but what about the menders ward as people would still be in there doing repairs which is kinda close to crafting.

i log in and saw 7 lalafall and a hume then other 7lalafall and a hume then in the crystal in LL 10-15 lalafalls -.- there more RMT playing this game then real players. Question is why the hell are they even RMT in this game it's not like ffxiv is hard to make gil. anyone who buy gil for ffxiv are really lazy you could easy make 500k-1mil doing lot's of leves in one day.

I blame the packs of Lalafells too, they are obviously the source of all our problems!

We'll probably never know, but the stability really needs improving... I'm sure they will get to the bottom of the crashes and sort them out though :) Little more disconcerting this time since it's been a few hours and they're still down, so obviously not as simple....

Have you tried turning it off and on again? :D (I jest...)

Yeah I must admit this last week I have seen more groups of RMT's at the camps than ever before and I ask why? Who needs to actually buy gill in this game when it is so easy to make it.

Maybe can do repairs only since that is not done through synthesis action, but done through browse then repair... I'm sure they could limit 1 without affecting the other.

RMT will always exist, because there are always weak players who are too LAZY to do things for themselves and would rather purchase the items/gil/ranks because they can afford it.
