Legitimate Tab Targeting concerns...

I have come to the point where I feel I absolutely need to address this system. I don't want to bash or seem negative, but I want to make it a point to try and reach out to the Devs that the FFXIV tab targeting script is leaps and bounds behind any modern day MMO. I am a dedicated FF fan and will be staying with this game and subscribing for a long time, and only wish to improve what we can improve upon, especially along the lines of basic scripting setups. This being said, this tab targeting system that is currently applied to the game is very very poor. At the very least, set if then scripts to accommodate this. I know first hand this can be a two line fix. If the target is the closest in range target that is an enemy unit then target this first, also, if this target is within lets say "5 yalms" in your range lingo, of your location and has less than 95% maximum hp target this first. I highly recommend that you implement a system along these lines due to the utter lack of a worthy tab targeting system that we currently have. In future patches as the content gets harder, and we have even less of a human error allowance, I need to be able to target properly. please, please, please pay notice to this thread as I feel this is an issue that will greatly affect and improve current game quality for all of us that rely on this system...
