Bringing back BCNMs.

Hey, guys. I posted this in a different thread and someone suggested I make a new thread with the idea. We know Extreme Mode primals are coming and that's cool but how about for the new primals(Ramuh, Leviathan, etc.) they make their instance dungeons in the beastmen strongholds? I think it'd bring back a little sense of adventure that people seek. You can still shout in Mor Dohna to set up the party but then you'd still have to mount back to the instance. Thoughts? Thanks!

I'd rather not have to spend 30 minutes gathering people then 10 minutes traveling to the instance.

This is what i thought guildhests were going to be like. They can still make them like that instead of being useless.

Then.... dont do those instances?


I'm not a big fan of the fake court drama shows (judge Judy) or the fake ghost shows (ghost hunters) but I don't demand that they be removed from TV.

This is basically how primal fights were in 1.0 and people hated it. I highly doubt they'll bring that system back.

(Judge Judy is the best)

BCNM's were basically what Guildhests are now but they were harder and had rewards. Simply augment the guildhest system to be more challenging and actually make it meaningful. I don't see why this would be a bad thing.

That's kinda what you have to do right now, anyway. You get a quest to enter the appropriate beastmen stronghold in order to check a spot and unlock the instance, which then gets added to the Duty Finder.

I don't see that changing when they add in the Ramuh, Leviathan, and Shiva primal battles.

And people complain the world feels to small...because they teleport everywhere or auto-pulled into instances for connivence. /shakeshishead It takes what a few seconds to teleport to a spot and then chocobo to an entrance.

I would totally prefer if dungeons actually required you to go to the entrances, you know the whole emersion thing people talk about. Then again everyone has their opinions on what should be in place. Ah well.

I think Ifrit is literally the definition of an NM with a Burning Circle.

The problem with this is that it would take away one of the big advantages of using the DF: the ability to do something else while you wait for a party.
