Will we ever get.....

The ability to change hairstyles? (was promised)

Rewards for all our surplus "bonus points"? (was promised)

Team-crafting, like building an airship or giant cake (was implied)

Hamlet battles (was listed for early january by old dev team)

A way to get the original game bonuses like onion helm through events (the reason i ask this is because a lot of people had issues unlocking them when the game was released due to a messed up registration system, and as such many people who -should- have got them didn't)


Anyone hear anything about these in interviews or on other language boards?
List anymore if you have them.

I'm guessing sometime after the 1.18 update.

I'm guessing some time far into the future, I doubt we will see these features even prior to PS3 release. Also take any "Plans or promises" with a grain of salt until you see actual patch notes refering to them being worked on and not "Looked into" as they can conviently hush it away as being unfeasable when it's in the investigation stage.

Who knows, but as long as they fix the shit that makes this game almost unplayable, poopy action bar, boring combat, terrible menus, etc, I can wait quite awhile before I care if any of that sees its way into the game. That's what the polls where for, to gauge where they needed to start. All those fun things (choco breeding, building airships,etc.) will be awesome additions, but the basic fundamentals need to be laid and working first.

It kinda bothers me that their way to fix the surplus issue thing was to tell people they would get to use the bonus points and then never mention it again.

Surplus "rewards". no. (They never stated it would be rewards, they stated there will be something done with it that wasn't determined yet.

Team Crafting Yoshida said won't happen till there's a use for what can be built as a team.

Hamlet Battles the rep said it's being redesigned so information comes later.

Never heard of people having issues beyond asura armguards due to the fact XIII's codes were time sensitive. I can easily get Onion Helms on new characters I create.

First off surplus is being removed, also a few things that might effect your things here, one this was all from the original director, and second, things are planned all the time for new games, and never happen, it is just most of the time we dont hear about it.

As said above the polls decided where the dev team should prioritise, I believe it was Tanaka's team who said much of this stuff was coming to the game and Yoshida obviously decided against it.

This one was actually addressed in an interview. They said something like, they don't want to put it in until they have a purpose and content for it.

Probably buff food that buffs you for 30 months, instead of 30 minutes when you consume it (alone).
