Lightning fate needs to spawn more often

I sat around for 2 hours trying to do the Lightning fate I saw her spawn once. Despite spaming blizz 2 in a party i got a bronze.

This really isn't fun when you have about 500 people in 1 spot trying to aoe these mobs.

Blizz II is why you got bronze. Credit is based on how much damage you do, not how much lag you cause.

You have to spam blizz 2 because the mobs almost instantly die as soon as they spawn because everyone else is doing blizz 2 as well.

I got a gold from tab targeting and using Scathe. It's not that hard when all the people spamming AoEs aren't actually hitting the mobs because they can't see anything. (Also, there was one guy who didn't level sync and kept using Holy, but that's another story.)

It's not so much damage you do but actually how much hate you generate from the mob - hence going GLA/PLD and using Flash three or four times (or equipping the spell to another class/Job that can use it) will get you credit in the FATE - it's how I managed to do it.

Of course the spell actually has to register as hitting at least one mob, preferably many at once, but as long as this is done a few times, you should be able to get credit for it.

You're a Paladin? I got gold every single time as Paladin. Crabs I just ran around using flash. Gertrude I just threw all the enmity I could at her. Gold every single time.

Or how much aggro you pull. You can run around spamming flash without actually hitting anything and still get gold. That's how I do it on my PLD anyway. And if I'm not mistaken Flash is a universal CC skill so you can use it on THM.

do the other fate (the big chiken) I got gold solo as brd and pld

I'm probably going to wait a week then do it just do avoid the congestion, maybe you should do the same.

It spawns often it's up for a month
