So, I've got mixed feelings about titan lag, but I had an experience today that gave me pause and I thought it would be worth putting out in the forums.
I was helping an FC member get her first titan kill w/ a pug she created at about 5:15 pm EST. Things were going as well as could be expected for new players -- we were making it past heart, and they were learning the rotation, which was good. Dodging was pretty okish.
Fast forward 45 minutes to 6:00 pm EST. Party had lost a guy and replaced, then upon re-entering instance dodging was nearly impossible. I was getting WotL pop at 50% cast timer, random landslide hits that shouldn't have even been close, etc. I thought maybe my ping was bad, but I checked and the local/ISP connection were all fine (running average 40ms to Google's 8.8.8.8 in Mountain View, and 50ms going to Level 3's 4.2.2.2 in Broomfield). Turns out everyone one else was getting the same kind of lag/delay and we eventually had to quit the instance and decide to run another time when latency isn't so bad.
TL;DR: It seems odd that this lag spike coincides with the start of east coast US peak hours... I wonder if server congestion may indeed be the cause of many player's problems with this particular, dodge-heavy instance, despite claims of camera zooming mishaps.
As a note, I don't customarily play much during peak, I'm usually on any time from early morning to mid/late afternoon depending on my schedule, so this is one of my first 'prime time' titan experiences.
