Gold Saucer Idea: PVP CHOCOBO JOUSTING

I dunno how you can make this happen but take my money and make this happen!

As long as we can race, and gamble on said races, I will be happy.

Include target shooting from a roller coaster and I'm in.

I don't remember what it was called but WoW had a jousting daily and a jousting battle for one of the dungeons. I imagine it could work like that.

-two players to a joust
-start with a full shield
-strike, charge and defend are the only skills available
-once time runs out, or one player's shields are gone the game is over

You know, it would rock my small, self-centered world if a fantasy MMO would introduce actual mounted combat.

Well, back when ARR was first announced (in the original 'version 2.0 design document' SE released in 2011), an early mock-up screenshot showed amongst other things, player characters mounted on chocobos participating in battle FF Tactics-style, so hopefully this idea hasn't been scrapped as unworkable or something, as I'd love to be able to ride my chocobo in combat. :D

Guess they gotta hire Michael Vick for some help.

My friend and I had a talk about how cool it would be if they could add Chocobo Knight type job that is based on mounted combat with your chocobo. Like maybe another heavy armor job with a lance weapon and based on charges and chocobo kick attacks. Maybe like a Lancer/Gladiator mix of classes.

Chocobo Racing NEEDS to be in the game too!

they also need jet packs, flame throwers and curry rice
