When you have actual gear on it won't look that bad. It's spaced out so it won't clip through armor.

It's a promotional item, why so serious?

Complaining about floaty gear = Never played a Pugilist/Monk XD

No offense, of course, but pugi weapons pretty much are always just floating around without the right gear on.
