Primal Weapon Converting

Can we please get this option back in the game.

What is that?

I've been holding onto my old Ifrit weapons with the hopes that we'll be able to convert them to seals or materia or something. I might have to ditch them soon though as they're just inventory- items at this point.

Almost have a full Retainer page of nothing but primal weapons I don't use anymore. I agree we should have the option to convert them, maybe make them much harder to SB and guarantee a tier 4 with a slightly higher chance to get an elemental materia of the weapon i.e. Garuda's Gaze => Wind IV (if unlucky)

In 1.0 we could convert primal weapons into materia, it was nice and gave people a reason to do the fights more after they got their weapon.

You converted yours to materia? I remember them going for some seals, too.

Yeah you could get really good materia for them.

Hmm, if it spiritbind and convert the normal way to materia, I would be OK with that I guess. Same for Darklight and Myth and Coil gear, why not. Why should worse stat, easier to obtain crafted gear convert to good materia and these items not?

Wouldn't want to simply trade primal weapons for materia without spiritbinding though. It's too easy to do the primals for that.
