Dungeon Experience Points Variance?

Hi all!

This is one of my first times making a thread, and I searched for this problem and couldn't find it... I figured who better to ask than other community members of the game!

I was recently running Dzemael Darkhold with a couple friends of mine. While running the dungeon, I noticed I was receiving significantly less experience points per kill. I was averaging roughly 900-950, while one of my friends was getting ~1100, and my other friend was receiving ~1600. None of us were eating food and our FC didn't have Heat of Battle active for any experience bonus.

I understand there is an experience bonus if your main is a higher level. My highest-level friend had a 50MRD/WAR, so I understand him getting roughly 1600. However, my other friend's highest was a 46ARC/BRD, and I was a 45GLA/PLD. Why was she getting significantly more experience points than me?

Isn't there an experience "chain" bonus? .. Like it triggers off of kills and lasts a short period of time. Possibly cumulative. I'm pretty in-the-dark on details.

Also, there's an XP bonus if you have a different class at higher level class. That could be a difference.

It's true that Chains work in Dungeons as well, but in the case of Dzemael Darkhold, due to the enemies being lvl44 you won't be chaining anything if you're above lvl44 yourself. Thus I'd imagine that's not it unless Lord Nick forgot mentioning his friends' levels in detail.

And well, about the 50% Exp bonus for levelling a new class, it's active as long as your highest class is a single level above it. There's no increases or decreases depending on how far off you are.

Did your friends have Rested bonus active perchance, while you didn't? That's another 50% extra EXP to enjoy per kill.

One friend had a 50 MRD, but was on a 44 DRG, so that explains his ~1600/kill.

My other friend was a 46 BRD, her highest, but I think she had a rested bonus.

I totally forgot to factor in rested bonus! It's odd, though. I was netting ~900/kill in Darkhold, yet I was getting ~1100 in Cutter's Cry. I don't believe I had a rested bonus active at the time, either.
