Like putting FATEs in the DF and then pick a zone to wander around and Kill mobs and then FATEs for X amount of time like 60 mins? I suppose that could be cool.
What would you get though? Like items and gear?
Behemoth and Odin are sadly the only thing we're getting for now.
If they added in more 'big' end-game FATE's people might'nt rush Behemoth and Odin so much.
(I'd love to see some of these with more interesting mechanics) But sadly with the amount of people that throw themselves at these FATE's it'd be almost impossible to execute them correctly with the latecy these type of FATE's have been known to generate so far.

This is something FFXIV lacks, is unique gear items that are slightly more difficult or require effort to obtain. Everyone has the same set of gear for most of the game, the options are limited in this style of gear progression, some unique items to mix it up would be nice.
How about having like 4 or 5 different scenario fates arrive within a day, and upon completion we get like 20 philos upon completion??
really all I want is more SERVER wide stuff besides world bosses, or have more world bosses spawn
they need to seriously consider adding some sort of system which allows players to keep levelling after 50 . And spend those points on certain abilities like moving faster etc . Kinda like what is in EQ RIFT , probably WOW .
That would give a reason to actually kill things after hitting weekly cap . Oh well hindsight is a powerful thing .
It's weird FF14 1.0 had roaming NM's that dropped rare/ex items and craft mats and they removed them in 2.0.
That sounds pretty cool, it would also give you incentive to go to other towns :)
there should be a server wide chain of fates that leads you from zone to zone (kind of like the atomos/maws event in 1.0), by the end it might reward you with phil/mytho seals or unique weapon.
