Character Transfers regarding Legacy to non-Legacy

I've been out of the game for about 3-4 weeks now and I've been wondering whether or not they've lifted the restriction of character transfers between legacy and non-legacy servers (or really whether or not there's been news about it). It's really the only thing stopping me from continuing since I don't want to put work into an FC that I'm going to be leaving in 2 weeks or so.

It'll be at least six months after the game was released. Making it no sooner than Dec/January, but probably a bit further down. Hell, they might lift the restriction from Legacy -> Non-Legacy at 2.1.
