FFXIV config = japanese error?

im updating the game (fresh install) , and when i open the FFXIV config , a error pop up opens in japanese Oo?

I recently did a fresh install, and the config was default in japanese, but all I had to do was chose english in the drop down menu.

Question is, do you get to that point, or is it an error and then back to desktop?

the error was happening because i was updating the game =/ , so closing the updater fixed it :D
